Barbie Has A Closet

When I made the barbie dollhouse I left the seventh room undeclared so that the girls could choose what they would like it to be. An office, a nursery or perhaps a closet. They chose a closet and so we spent this weekend constructing it and installing. Here is a look at what we have so far:

We are looking at getting the vanity that the guy who made the furniture makes to add to this room as well as some hooks on one of the walls to hang hats and purses.

Little Artist Lazy Susan

I put this together for the kiddos about a month or so ago and the children love it.

Having been inspired by the ones that I had seen in the Pottery Barn catalogs and on the knock-offs around blog land I kept an eye out for the buckets, which were found at Jo-ann's for $1. They were originally an orange but a can of navy blue spray paint hides that fact. The lazy susan was a cast off from someone at church and a bit of sanding and a can of white spray paint had it looking great. Just need to finish filling it with art supplies.
