Busy Week

Whew! I have accomplished quite a bit this week and am feeling pleased with myself. Pat on the back:-)Two dresses, a pair of boys dress pants and a shirt, the 5 remaining potato bags for mum and then with the scrap fabric from the bags I made two skirts. I think I shall go take a nap now. And what a relief to be able to cross off a couple things from my to-do list. I used the Flirty Skirt pattern that can be found on page 16 of the current BH&G Quilts and More issue. I am pleased with how the two skirts turned out as is my Sarah who recieved one of the two skirts that was made today. I also love that I was able to use up leftovers to complete these. I am sure that this pattern will be used often. But ya' know, I think that nap will have to wait as I have some charm squares I am just dying to put together into a quilt. Peg has inspired me with her beautiful quilts to make one of these beauties and I picked up two charm packs of Allspice Tapestry by Joanna Figueroa for moda. I can't wait to get started on it and since I have completed six things on my to-do list for others I feel like I can reward myself. It shall be fun.
